boy covers a distance of 2km at a speed of 15 km/h while going to
the market from his home. He comes back home covering the same
distance at a speed of 4 km/h. Calculate the total time taken in
hours.

A car travels 45 km at a uniform speed of 60 km/h and the next 30
km at a uniform speed of 40 km/h. Compute its average speed.
Ans- 50 km/h 3.
In a 100 m race, a sprinter covers 3m in first second, 32 m in
next 4 seconds and 48 m in another 4 seconds. Ultimately it takes
10s to finish the race. 4.
A train moving with a speed of 72 km/h stopped in 10s after
applying the brakes. Compute the acceleration of the train.

A fast moving train travelling at 180 km/h is brought to rest with
a uniform retardation in 25 seconds. Calculate the distance moved
by it after it comes to rest.
