Holidays Homework 2008

Class II

• To make the holidays enjoyable as well as knowledgeable, the following assignments have been given. Encourage your child to do the work on his or her own with parental guidance where ever necessary.

• Hand writing - in the writing book, pages 2 to 15. Stress on neatness.

• Make a jigsaw puzzle with the picture given. Follow the steps and make one more using picture of your choice.

• Make 2 things using waste materials. Example use old tins, boxes, cds, plates, and small bottles. Take ideas from Art Attack and M.A.D.

• Make a scrap book on stamps. Collect stamps of five different countries. Paste each on different pages and add information under the following headings.

• Capital of the country, Draw or paste flag of the country, National bird and animal, national dress, staple food, language spoken, currency and any thing special about that place. Make your scrapbook colourful and interesting 

• Write a stick pictures of 20 things for which you want to thank God. Use a scrap book and write in Hindi.

• Watch animal planet channel of Steven Attenbourgh on birds. Stick pictures & write a few lines about the 3 to 5 rare birds. Use A4 sheet only and do the worksheet as well.

•  Watch art attack in Disney channel and Mad in pogo channel and make any one item.
