Class IX

Music

Make any musical poster (dance, instrumental or vocal) on thermacol or any chart sheet.  
                                     OR  

Make a model of any Indian musical instrument.
 

 

Mathematics

  • Make a power point presentation on any one of the topics of Class IX (Read the chapter carefully and surf the internet to add some information about any one mathematician related to the topic of the power point)

  • Do the assignments given to you from Polynomials and Number Systems. 

 

Geography

  • Do the home work according to your Roll No
    Make a chart (on half chart paper) or a modal on the following topics.
    Write in big font in maximum 15—20 lines.
    Draw diagrams where necessary.
    Surf the net for extra information.

Attempt the following questions from the Chapter Motion 

1.A student runs over a circular track of diameter 70 meter.
He starts from from point A and stops at point B travelling 
Half way though the circumference. What is the :
a.distance travelled by the student
b. Displacement of the student?

2. A taxi driver noted the reading on the odometer as 1052 Km,
After 30 minutes, he noted the odometer reading was 1088 Km.
Find the average speed of the taxi.

3.Akshil drove his car with an average speed of 20 Km/hr. while
Going to his college .He returned with an average of 30 Km/hr.
Calculate the average speed of the car during entire journey.

4.A car starts from rest and attains a speed of 10 m/s in 40 sec.
The driver applies brakes and slows down to 5 m/s in 10 sec.
Find the acceleration of the car in both the cases.

5. A car is retarded by applying brakes at the rate of 2 m/s2 .
It is finally stopped in 10 sec. Find its initial velocity.

Art : Will be given Art Education home work.

Craft : Soft Toy and Tile Painting.

All art and craft students will visit with their parents and friends Dilli Haat or Exhibition/ Museum etc.
