Mount Carmel Junior School, Anand Niketan has classes from Nursery to III. The Junior School is very close to nature, making learning a pleasure for the tiny tots.

Each class has special goals and objectives to ensure an all round development of each student. 

Nursery and Preparatory Classes
The teachers try to draw the best out of each student thereby ensuring a wholesome development of their personalities. The teachers are encouraged to use play-way method with the maximum use of audio visual aids, creating interest in the subject that's taught. They use colorful charts, 3D objects , puppets, pictorial charts and flash cards. Special care is taken to tap the child's talent and abilities without affecting his individuality. 

Classes I , II and III 
The teachers work hard towards making the lessons more interesting by incorporating various activities for the students to facilitate better understanding of the basic concepts. Interactive sessions are held to enable the students to come up with new ideas and thoughts. 

The emphasis is on blending the curriculum with the students' immediate environment so that the curriculum appears practical and relevant.

Children are encouraged to read in order to increase their general awareness. Teachers provide interesting information from Encyclopedia and various other books thereby igniting young minds. 

Equal stress is laid on Art and Craft, Music, Physical Education, Scriptures and Computer Education to ensure an overall development of each child. Extra curricular activities are an integral part of the curriculum. All students are encouraged to participate thereby ensuring a healthy competitive spirit in them.
