Shiksha Kendra Activities:

Mount Carmel, Shiksha Kendra, our school for underprivileged is now from UKG to class X, with approximately 300 students and eight staff members. The school motivates the SK children by giving training programme in Computers, animation film making, puppet making, paper craft, clay modeling etc. 

Senior students are taught the basis of beauty culture by experts. Besides, the students also enjoy the educational trips to various places. 

The pride of the school is not in the infrastructure but in the children.  They are our future.

Children's Day Celebration

This year Children’s  Day Programme was put up by the talented Shiksha Kendra teachers which showed their prowess and proved that ‘Hum Bhi Kuch Kam Nahin’.

The teachers brought forth their talents by putting up dances, a play and imitated their students by wearing the school uniform. They recollected their childhood days and the function was enjoyed by one and all.

Annual Day Celebrations

The students of Mount Carmel Shiksha Kendra celebrated their Annual Day by presenting a programme filled with colour, music and artistic brilliance. 

The highlight of the programme was the play ‘Kadva Sach’ which emphasized the need for literacy in the lives of the poor. 

The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, Mr. Yogesh Jagia, Corporate Lawyer and Shri Mahabal Mishra, MLA –Nasirpur graced the occasion and gave away prizes to meritorious students.
 Meena of Class V received the Karen Williams Memorial Award for Best student, Vishnu of class VII won many awards for his outstanding performance in sporting events.
